In Korea Matcha is also known as Malcha. For this quality tradition meets modern times. The Tencha is a blend of the traditional Korean tea cultivar and the Japanese cultivar Ryofu, which is also based in Korea. The leaves are carefully ground in a modern ball mill with zirconium dioxide balls.
