We now also offer the popular Japanese organic Hojicha as a powder, but with one small difference. The base material used here is not Bancha but gently roasted Sencha. The leaves are ground into powder in a so-called ‘bead mill’ with the help of countless small, very fast-rotating beads. Hojicha powder offers a nutty, mild alternative to Matcha in terms of taste and is just as versatile. You can enjoy the tea on its own, brew it as a Hojicha Latte or incorporate it into baked goods.
