Matcha – Ice tea
Matcha Mint
Ingredients:
1 bamboo spoon Matcha Powder (1-2 g)
150 ml Soda Water
2-3 tsp agave syrup
1/2 Lime
2 sprigs fresh mint
Crushed ice or ice cubes
Preparation:
Bring some water to a boil and let it cool to about 80° Celsius / 175 Fahrenheit. Put a bamboo spoonful of matcha powder (1-2 g) into a bowl and add some hot water (80°C / 175 F). Use a bamboo whisk to stir up a thick tea paste and set it aside to cool. Cut the lime into wedges and place in a glass with the ice cubes and mint. Add the tea paste, fill with mineral water, and add agave syrup to taste.
Serve with a straw and enjoy!
Extra tip: CUCUMBER
For an extra burst of freshness, add a few slices of cucumber or a dash of Kitl cucumber syrup. A little gin or vodka makes this drink the perfect evening companion.
