Sambesi is a very complex coffee from Zambia: it smells wonderfully of milk chocolate and blueberries. When drunk, nutty aromas and slightly floral notes dominate. We enjoy Zambezi best as filter coffee and from the French Press. It is also excellent as a light espresso or harmonious cappuccino. It grows on a high plateau between 1150 and 1300 metres above sea level on loamy, ferruginous soils and plays a very important role in the economic and social development of the area.
